50 new research projects of the new Cluster of Excellence MATH+ have startet with the new year
90 project applications for the new Cluster of Excellence MATH + are presented at the Clusterdays from 31.10. until 02.11. During the next two weeks, an internal review process will decide which of these will be funded for the next two to three years.

It plays a central role in differential and integral calculus, and thus in application-oriented mathematics, for example in growth and decay processes. 28 days is the average period of the female menstrual cycle. With GynCycle a model for its course was developed at the Matheon. It helps setting the dosage, time-point and duration of cycle-dependent hormone administration for certain diseases.
